I had always wanted to paint - for as long as I can remember but somehow life just got in the way. I started in 2005 in watercolour and was privileged to work with an inspirational tutor who encouraged individual expression, personal growth and a passion for paint.

Glazing is a technique I frequently use to create translucency, mood and atmosphere by laying down multiple transparent washes to produce unusual blends and depths of colour that bring a different perspective to the most unlikely subjects.
